Newspaper Analysis Essay
This is a right winged newspaper sending a message about a left wing leader. The Mast Head is in red in an attempt to grab your attention and show danger. The headline takes over 1/3 of the front cover in bold writing it does this to stand out and tell a simply message that Jeremy Corbyn is ruining Britain by using the play on words 'COR-BIN'. Colour and images have been used to create an unrealistic and dim/upsetting looking front cover to portray Jeremy in a bad light. The copy on the right hand side gives more detail into the situation while still remaining simply and easy to read, it then goes on to the first stand this continues to give information about the topic and it is made to bring you in and catch your attention, it gives out information such as how allowing the labour party to win the election would be catastrophic for Britain and that Jeremy Corbyn himself would reverse seven years of job creation and growth under Tories, it says how only a vote for Theresa May's conservatives could save us. The Serif font often used by tabloids and chosen for its characteristics of clarity and modernity it clearly shows key points they will make during the main article.
